What is the RAISE PLUS IQC?

The Rural and Agricultural Incomes with a Sustainable Environment (RAISE) PLUS Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) is a broad, multifaceted field support mechanism for environmentally sustainable, market-driven development of food and cash crops, livestock, forests, fisheries, tourism, wildlife, and agribusinesses. It will provide assistance that contributes to:

• Sector strategy and program development,
• Trade strategy development,
• Policy analysis,
• Input and product market development,
• Sustainable production,
• Post-harvest storage and processing, and 
• Producer organization and enterprise development.

RAISE PLUS replaces three previous agricultural sector IQCs: Agricultural Policy Development (APD); Broadening Access and Strengthening Input Market Systems (BASIS); and Rural and Agricultural Incomes with a Sustainable Environment (RAISE).
